Our history in the renovation industry includes many of golf’s finest courses. Pine Forest Country Club and Galveston Country Club, both in Texas serve as notable examples. Dave Edsall Golf Design, Inc. was called on to make strategic and drainage renovations to both of these courses, providing the memberships with an enhanced golf experience.

Dave Edsall addressed the first annual Country Club Show in Las Vegas regarding the implementation of adding length to holes without simply adding distance, a measure found to be accommodating to the industry. Through strategic effects, lengthening holes can be achieved without simply moving tees back, or adding yardage. This innovation saves money and keeps original design intentions intact.

The playable conditions of a course are equally as important as the strategic functions. Dave Edsall Golf Design, Inc. expertise will dramatically improve playability features that include proper and innovative drainage solutions, environmentally sensitive best management practices, and a maintenance friendly final product.

Pine Forest Country Club, one of Houston, Texas top ranked courses annually called upon Dave's expertise on numerous occassions to help revamp the golf course. Dave supplied this prestigious facility with a redesigned practice area, complete with chipping and putting greens for short game instruction. Dave was brought back in to assist with some nagging drainage problems and upgraded some strategic tee relocations. Doug Edsall and Edsall Design Group, Inc. was consulted to provided a revamp entrance landscape design.

 

The club was considering reducing the 27 hole layout to 18 holes, and provide residential components. Dave was brought in again to develop the master plan redesign.
